At Daunna’s Art Studio we are committed to the creative learning process.

We provide the materials, guidance, and encouragement needed for creative growth. We foster curiosity, self-examination, and sensitivity to the world we live in. We believe self-expression is an integral part of life, and that the ultimate value of the art experience lies in the process, not the end result.
We have appreciated the opportunity to teach the many students who have studied with us since the studio opened in 1974. Many have developed a long-lasting love of art. All have gained from thoughtful creative expression and the opportunity to employ their complete intellect to positively contribute to our world.

For the time being, all classes by appointment only, please call Daunna at 808-779-8749 to discuss. Mahalo!

The Show and Celebration Move Online!

Every December, we usually have our annual exhibition at Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens, where students and teachers have the opportunity to exhibit their work to the public and express what art means to them personally. Sadly, this year that was not possible due to the pandemic.

Although we cannot gather together to view all the artists’ work this year, I am happy to present some highlights of their artwork in our first-ever virtual exhibition! Please take a look and be sure to explore each artist’s page to see more of their artwork and their thoughts on what ART means to them.
